Who is CreativeBuild for?
CreativeBuild.com.au is an online rental service for LEGO fans. We and our kids love building LEGO sets, just as you and/or your kids do. We have a big range of popular LEGO sets in stock for you and/or your kids to choose from. We aim to provide the best rental service for you and/or your kids to: enjoy unlimited fun, develop building skills, and boost creativity.

Do I have to pay for delivery fee?
No, there is no cost for you on delivery. The membership plan subscription fee includes free delivery and returns.
Are there any other fees, like deposit, or joining fee?
No, there is no deposit, or joining fee, or any other hiding fees.
How can I start renting LEGOs?
You can start renting by joining a plan. As soon as you submit your membership plan subscription, you can start adding all the sets you’d like to build into your wishlist, and we will start organising the delivery to you.
How much does it cost?
You can find all pricing information at our LEGO rental plans page. All plans include free delivery and returns.
There is no contract or anything alike attached to the plan subscription, you are free to cancel at anytime (see answer to question “how can I cancel my plan subscription?” below).
If you would like to rent more than sets at a time, we’d love to hear from you. You can contact us. We will happily arrange that for you.
How long does it take for delivery?
Our system will usually take up to 24 hours to match the sets for you, and send you the confirmation.
The delivery time varies based on your location:
- 1 to 2 business days to most cities in NSW, and major cities outside of NSW (such as Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, and Melbourne)
- 2 to 5 business days to other cities.
Delivery tracking will be available online.
Can I join the club if I am outside of Australia?
Currently we only post to addresses within Australia. You will need to have an Australia postal address to receive the sets, no P.O. boxes.
Can I choose which set(s) I get?
The set(s) you receive depends on the availability of the sets on your Wishlist at the time you’re ready to change your set(s). We will always try to send your next set(s) which are on your wishlist. If this isn’t possible then we’ll send you something else from the catalogue rather than keep you waiting.
Availability changes daily so it’s not possible to guarantee a specific set will be available. The more sets you have on your Wishlist, the more likely you are to receive a set you want to build.
How long can I keep a LEGO set?
You can keep your current LEGO set(s) as long as you want. It is up to you how often you want to exchange your LEGO set for another, subject to a minimum period of a month (or 2 months, depending on your plan) between dispatch dates. Some members exchange their set every month, others keep them for longer. If you prefer to take your time, enjoy the build, and admire your achievements afterwards, then there’s no hurry. Enjoy building at your own pace.
Please note that if you keep a set for longer than a month (or 2 months, depending on your plan), this does not earn you credit in the form of an extra set the following month. If you keep a set for longer than a month you’re still actually renting it, even if you’ve chosen not to exchange it for another set yet. It’s up to you how you manage your sets, how frequently you choose to exchange them, and how you want to play.
What happens if my set arrives with a piece missing?
This is unlikely because every set is inventory-checked before being dispatched. But if it does happen, then let us know straight away by sending us an email so we can send you replacement parts.
Remember, we want to make sure that all our Members have a great build experience, so please be sure to tell us if something’s not right.
What happens if I lose a piece?
Don’t worry – we know it happens! That’s why we don’t make a charge for replacing up to 3 small missing LEGO pieces. If more than 3 small pieces per set are lost, we have to make a standard replacement charge. Lost LEGO Minifigures, LEGO animals or creatures, and larger pieces of LEGO are charged at cost plus P&P because these can be expensive to replace. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for more information.
How can I cancel my plan subsciption?
You can cancel your subscription at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, and posting your final set(s) back to us. Once we have received all outstanding LEGO sets back from you and they’ve been confirmed as clean and complete, with no pieces missing, we can confirm the cancellation of your membership.
